By introducing the Catholic Christian faith in Great Cumania he obliged the use of Latin language as an official State communication tool. By those exceptional measures HE PROVED TO BE THE FIRST KING OF EASTERN EUROPE who promoted By FACTS the tendency to integrate His country to WESTERN CHRISTIAN CIVILISATION. It is and will be our obligation to pay tribute to this great Ilhan. Ştefan the Great, King of Moldova, himself a member of the great Kara-Muşat Royal family, continued courageously the fight of Bark Kara for freedom and independence! 35. Kuthen Kara (1231-1239). Kuthen Kara was the Governor of Ardeal Territories. He had his headquarters in the locality of Kuheia and was killed by the men of the Hungarian King Bella IV who was suspecting that Kuthen Kara was in relation with Genghis Han. The Moldovian Prince Bogdan I was a direct descendant of Kuthen Kara. 36. Karaz Han Kara (1248-1258) 37. Aepa II Han, son of Bark Kara. (1268-1272) 40. Aslan Kara I, the second brother of Bark Kara. (1272--1275) Aslan Kara I was in charge of today’s territory of Moldova and Basarabia. 41. Kaplan Kara (the tiger) (1276-1295) Kaplan Kara was the youngest brother of Bark Kara. He was The Ilhan of Great Cumania from the Dniester River up to the Hungarian Kingdom. After the split of Great Cumania in three independent entities, Ardeal, Moldova and Muntenia, Kaplan passed the river Danube and took the leadership of the Gagauz People who lived in Dobrudgea (Southeastern Romania) and the Varna (Bulgaria) region. His first degree cousin, Radu Kara-Negru Vodă, remained in what is today’s Romania and created the basis of the Muntenia-Oltenia Principalities. 42. Mehmet Andrei Han Kara (1295-1343) Mehmet Andrei Han Kara son of Kaplan Kara, was the Han of the Gagauz Principality of Varna. 43. Aslan Karaghiaur (1343-1388) Aslan Karaghiaur, son of Mehmet Andrei, was named GHIAUR by the great conqueror Bayazed who killed him in a combat near Varna. Bayazed was killed himself by the Great Han Tamerlan the Uzbek, who passed from Christian faith to the Mohamedan religion. He was the seventh in line Han after Genghis Han. After 1388 the Gagauz Varna Hanat was declared PASHALIK. The Karaghiaur family retreated to the west and put the basis of the today’s town of KUMANOVO. The Professor Ştefan Caraghiaur (1924-1978) The family was deported in Russia near the town of Morozovsk. In 1942, under the guidance of Eni Han, the family returned in Basarabia. Ştefan Caraghiaur has built MANY SCHOOLS FOR THE MOLDAVIAN and Gagauz population in Ceadîr-Lunga, Komrat, Cărpineni and Căuşani. He collected money from His friends and put His own resources at work in order to help His fellow citizens. He died in Montreal, Quebec (Canada), in 1978 where He was admitted as a political refugee from the communist regime of Romania in 1972. 51 Eugen Eni Han Caraghiaur (1978- ) He is the current Ilhan of The Royal House of Panciu –Romania, Moldova, Gagauz Eri and the territories occupied by Ukraina. |
